Here’s a classic. This one’s been rolling around the internet from the time since modems made noise. (“Oh, you want to connect? Let me sing you the song of my people first.”) Don’t take our word on any of them, though — we haven’t fact-checked. And, well, it’s the internet.

Still, remember the time when it was fun to get these in an email? Or come across them on some random site with sparkling stars and all-neon text? When online information was still somewhat rare and actually fascinating, and the word “listicle” didn’t exist yet? You know this one’s old because they mention the Canadian 2 dollar bill. (It has been a coin, the “toonie”, since 1996.) And the thing about the tiger’s stripes? Really?
